Garuda Ventures (SLAF I) has closed their debut fund with $31 million in commitments to invest in B2B software companies. The firm's general partners, Rishi Taparia and Arpan Punyani, both have experience in scaling companies. They plan to invest in 25 to 30 pre-seed and seed-stage startups in four areas: cloud-native security, digitization of energy markets, AI-enhanced applications, and technology for commerce infrastructure.

Rally (Fund III) sold shares of Mickey Mantle's childhood home in Commerce, Oklahoma, for $7 each, totaling 47,000 shares. The sale is both a nod to Mantle's iconic No. 7 jersey and the number of times he led the Yankees to the World Series championship. Rally purchased the house for $175,000 in 2022, renovated it, and now offers fans the opportunity to own a piece of Mantle's history.
